Every history, life, memory, society, family and love carry sensitivities and emotion to the future with their own intensity. Through paint flowing scenes in nature, figures with nature and changing processes by transparent colour, I try to create a fluent space with saturated, liquid texture. The figures exist transparently in space. They constructed by line and floated upon the background. The painting process ties to intimate and immediate decisions. The space and image reconstruct after every gesture I made, as if they grow organically to catch what the eyes see within the external world and personal interpretation, where the reality, illusion and delusion come from. The figure’s contour turns out to indicate an existence but not solidly occupy the space. I intend to paint about merge and apart, distinguishable and changeable in the figure and space to reflect what can be realised between image and interpretation, between painting and experience. In front of changes and ephemerals, I am searching for the boundary of memory, space and interpretation between the inevitable heaviness and lightness in life and fleeting moments.
